    2000 P Sacagawea Dollar

I have a 2000 P Sacagawea Dollar which is blank on both sides. Can you tell me if it has any value? It was in the same roll of coins when purchased by my mother in law, back in 2000!

If it is blank on both sides, how do you know it's a 2000 Liberty Dollar. It could just as easily be a "knock-out" plug from an elecrical box.

Typically blank planchets sell for $2 or $3.

Don't be so sure about that. I have no doubt at all that examples have sold for that much. But when I give an estimate of value I try to give what I think to be the average value - not necessarliy the highest value.

Value of blank planchets tends to rise with the denomination $2 to $3 is a decent retail price for a cent or Nickel planchet but when you get up to the dollar denomination it is quite a bit higher. SBA planchets used to go for $35 retail. Sac dollar planchets seem to be more common but not in the $2 to $3 range. I would think that $20 to $25 would be closer.
