Lamination Error's. A section can peel up or appear to be peeling from the surface of that coin. A lamination error can appear as a jagged area of metal on the surface of the coin. This should not be confused with a 'struck through'.

De-lamination errors are common on most dates, I once pondered making a complete set of coins with lamination errors.
