1875 Fractional 50 cent issue

  1. Here is my only Fractional and oldest Federal piece of currency. Had it not had what appears to be a thumbtack hole, it would probably be the second highest condition note in my collection!

    nice note, and yes not a bad price. Fractionals are a cool series to collect. Most of them can be had be decent prices in mid-range grades. They of course can get very pricey in higher grades lol

  9. LOL, it sure does look it, doesn't it? The funny thing about that...they were local to me. Based in Poughkeepsie, NY, which is ALMOST within walking distance to me!
