DCH already identified this. India Gupta Empire. I however do not like the look of this coin. It might be the pictures, but I would not bid on these at auction. Edited to add-- if this is indeed genuine, then this coin is one of the more popular ones of the series.

The poor pic quality is my fault - not good at taking pics. What is it about the image that concerns you though? I've compared it in hand to the image in the link DCH provided and it matches and weighs right. What am I missing?

Dear CoinGal07 - this coin image you have posted is definately a genuine coin. It's weight should be in the 8.2grams range and is a Variety D which shows the King riding to the right, Bow in left hand, right hand resting on the hilt of the sword (your image is not clear, but if you look carefully - you will see a sword hanging down)... Reverse has the Goddess sitting on the wicker stool, feeding grapes to a Peacock.

Do you have additional Gupta coins?

    Hope this helps,
    Regards,
    Shivlee
