I'm totally ignorant of numismatics (at least I know the word), so I've come here to get a general idea on the worth of a few dollar coins that I've had for years. The pictures were taken with a scanner, but I think they are good representations of what the coins look like to the naked eye (I only cropped and combined the head and tail images, I didn't mess with the color, contrast or brightness).

I don't know what other information to provide, but I'll gladly answer any questions you may have. Thank you all for any assistance you can provide.

My guess would be about $14.00. It appears to fall into the grade of VG-8, and per "Coins" magazine, the price for a 1922 Peace Dollar of that grade is $14.30.

Take my guess with a grain of salt, I've been reading up on this for only a week now.

So about $28.00 for the two 1922 coins and $20 for the 1924, for a total of $48 for all three. These prices are retail, so what a dealer would actually pay you, would be less.

rzage What Goes Around Comes Around .

I agree with JDS , with the emphasis dealers pay less , which is only fair .
