Any guesses on what this 1889 CC would grade, and what it is worth?
    Thanks

I would put this coin in the VF range. If authentic, it is valuable. 1889-CC is a key date in the series. I would say it's probably worth in the $1200 range. However, this is a commonly faked coin and I would recommend getting better pictures for us to look at. Possibly even getting it slabbed.

I agree with Camaro, we need better pics (I think those might be scans), also a close up of the date would help. The 1889 CC is a very heavily counterfeited date.

I would say that the coin would grade Fine.

from what I see the mint mark on the back looks fake, even if it is a real coin. Looks like the second C is lower then the first but would definitely need better pics to tell...

That's actually common for this date (VAM 5 and 6). IMO it either the C dropped, or C set right variety, too hard to tell from the pics. It's the far date variety but I cant tell if the 9 is set high or not.

I also need better pics ,but from the ones provided the mint mark looks somewhat crude, the serifs appear to be missing on many of the letters (I) in the photo & the overall tone of the coin in my experiance leans twords counterfiet.

For you I hope the latter is not true.

If by some means it were to be authentic I would grade it as ... F12

I agree about the color Budgood, but I think they may be scans which usually give Circulated Morgans that dull gray color. I found a very similar example to the op's coin that sold on Heritage (minus the color) 1889-CC $1 VF30
IMO there are two things that look off on the op's coin, one, is the I in PLURIBUS, and two, is the R in AMERICA.

So right now I'm not sure if it's genuine, or counterfeit.
