How much would these go for?

Unfortunately, one of my grandmothers gave me a bunch of coins for a Christmas gift, and this was in that group so, I don't know a lot about it's history. I would hazard a guess that the grade is somewhere between F-12 and VF-20.

Also have a pretty otherwise-boring Canadian penny that has some interesting toning on it. I suspect the obverse would get me arrested if I showed it to Queen Elizabeth...heh   How much value would the interesting toning add?

The Morgan would be $11 to $14 and none for the other.

    You've got to be kidding!

If one of my grandkids made an ungrateful remark like that he/she would never be bothered again with gifts from me or my wife!

That came out wrong, I meant that unfortunately I don't know the history of the coin. :/

The dollar is an 1880 Morgan Silver Dollar. It was minted in Philadelphia and is the third year in the series (the design began in 1878). Your coins is considered a common date, there were 12.6 million made. Because it is a common date and is circulated, it is worth it's melt value. Right now, the melt value is $12.60.

Thank you for clarifying that because when I first read it I did not respond because of what i thought it said.
