I'm not a numismatist but I had a question about a coin. I had this really weird dream last night, and it made me wonder if a coin like this ever existed... It's a lot like a nickel (or maybe it was just worth a nickel), and most of what I remember about it was that it was basically rounded, but then equal portions of the right and left sides were cut off, making the coin longer rectangular but with rounded short ends... it also might have just been a parallelogram. I was just wondering if there are any coins of those shapes in existence? Thank you!
I have seen foreign coins in all kinds of shapes. I don't know of any specifically...but there every well could be a coin that shape. No US coins however.
