The title says parallel arrow feathers, but the picture shows the slanted top feather. I dont't have my book at the moment to see which is the early or late reverse.

Although I don't have my reference books with me at this time, I am almost certain that you have an 1879-S Morgan with the Reverse of 1879! The Reverse Dies were changed to correct the error (straight arrow fletching) on the Reverse Dies of 1878.

In any event, your Morgan Silver Dollar appears to be a VF-20! Considering that there are a lot of scratches on the coin and quite a few rim dings and nicks, it may be hard to get more than $12 to $13 for the coin but surprisingly might squeeze out $15.

    Thank alot--

Its a 1879-S 3ed Reverse--I would give it a NET-VG...there are lots of hairlines on the face and it makes it think it was cleaned along time ago...--so value would be $8-$12 IMO.
