What exactly is a clincker award? I have noticed after some post it says yes and others it just has a little blue icon thing. I know I could have searched but I busy reading all the other current post. Thanks Kent

As of yet - no. because no one, or very, very few ever use it. This was supposed to be something like the TOTW award when I started it. But it was intended for individual posts rather than topics/threads. But nobody ever uses the thing :headbang: And the only way to see if a post has been nominated is to view the post. If it has, you'll see wording in the bottom right corner. Look at your post in this thread to see what I mean. I can remember seeing like 3 in the entire time since the award was announced.
When I saw the following message: Clinker Award Nomination? Yes! I assumed it just meant that the thread had already been nominated by someone. I did not know it was a button to be pushed if you appreciated the individual post in the thread. Perhaps the message could state the question differently: Do you want to nominate this POST or this THREAD for award? Very best regards, collect89
Well now that those of us who read this thread know what the Clinker Award Nomination is all about, why not start using it??? I've been nominating for the past day or so on threads I've found helpful, probably nominated 15-20 of them so far. Maybe you've seen a couple too???
Please read this to understand what the Clinker Award is really about - Clinker Award Just finding a post helpful is not really reason enough to nominate a post. Only post that you find exceptional, and that the member who made that post is worthy of special recognition, should be nominated.
illini I have nominated some of yours I think if I did it right. You are one of the most helpful on here I read post that you put up even if I am not interested there are several on here I try to follow I have realy learned alot. ( Not Gramar or spelling though but I am trying) Thanks Kent
