Hey it worked , got a canon sx110is, still learning how to use it. Just lowered the mega pixel on camera to load pics on to CT & it worked, coool : )
If you lower the pixel count, the image will be too small. Best option is to save on a site like photobucket and then link them to your post with the "mountain/sun" icon on the menu bar of the posting box. That way the site will reduce the photo, but have an enlarge bar above the photo so it can be enlarged to the actual size. Jim
I got a new camera a couple months ago , farthest I got was getting the pics on the computer to a file called my pictures , now got to take that last step and learn how to get them to CT . Way to go pappy .:thumb: rzage:whistle:
You need to change your lighting. I don't think Barber quarters are copper colored. Among other things, try: - a black/dark gray background. - some sort of "white" light. Regular light bulbs give off too much yellow. I'll put quality on hold until you post larger images.
Thank you guys I've still got a long way to go & I thank you all for the helpful hints, believe me I need them all. Really got to work on lighting and getting those large photos you guys post , I love to look at all your beautiful pics  you folks really no how to take great pictures:thumb:
I know where your comming from rzage its taken me for ever to figure this out & I'am still working on it. But a little hint:secret: I got a lot of help right here from the forum , there is a post at the very top of the forum which helps a lot in posting your pics & its either on the chat forum or U S Coins forum . On the camera I just got after reading the instructions I found my camera would lower the pixels to bring the picture size down , you just have to keep playing with it until you figure it out, good luck :smile & hang in there.
