Was the Long Beach show that bad?

The Long Beach show has been there, at the same location, three times per year for a long time. I don't think signs should/would make any difference to even mildly serious collectors and dealers at this point. Ditto for the entrance fee.

The charge is $6, and the discount coupon can be printed from the internet, bringing it to $4. It is difficult to imagine significant numbers of collectors walking away because of that. In addition, anyone who has ever attended before knows about the fee.
