These are fake right. It would be cool if there not I want one of these but i def don't want a fake one, and the no return screems that it is fake
I agree! It looks just like the other counterfeits I've seen and these can no longer be purchased raw from someone you don't know well. Ribbit
I have never seen one until now how can you tell from a picture? I know no return is fishy, but what is the give away from the picture? I am just curious, Thanks Kent
One way is to compare the portraits with those on a known genuine coin. Ebay seems to have done something to prevent the image from being posted, so go to the auction and enlarge the photo of the obverse.
You guys are sharp I would never publicaly call someone out because I don't know enough, but I believe I could see subtle differances in the two. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. Kent
I agree, Kent. I don't post all that often here, because I typically don't have much to add, but I read regularly, and I'm constantly amazed and enlightened by the knowledge, even in collecting categories I don't have much interest in. I did find it kinda funny that the real example to compare against Chinese fakes hontonai listed was from a seller named "Ghengis".
