If he sells all of those cents @ $25 ea. he will end up with $13,750. Even if he's telling the truth, those 4 s vdb's which are probably AG2 at best, he still stands to make a killing. I hope he does'nt get one bid.
The absolute best part of this is the following from the seller: "again, go back and read the part where it says you may get a reg old wheat penny, regaurdless of junk or treasure, a 5 star feedback is expected!" Now that, ladies and gentlemen, is how you move product.
What a hussle!! The dealer sounds like some kind of circus performer or pimp!! Just another con job!!
This is interesting. What do you get for the $25.00. One Penny from the pile? 550 pennies including 4 1909SVDB's. Postage paid. And if he only has 10 available what happens to the other 540 coins. Does the next lot only have 540 coins in the pool or does he add 10 more? This guy has a lot of faith in one of mankind's biggest faults: Greed! It's even caught me once or twice back when I was a lot more careless! Hey we all were young and foolish at one time. Remember before you bid, If it looks too good to be true then, trust your vision.
Hmmm...$13,750 for $5.50 worth of common wheaties. (If you think he will ever send out a 09s, or any other key date I will kiss your A__.) I wish I had thought of it first!!!
Glad I seen this today and not yesterday. Whew. Yesterday was a good day to stop sniffing elmers glue. I bet they sell. The bidiots will show up and allow him to buy new tires for his house.
locve it: "again, go back and read the part where it says you may get a reg old wheat penny, regaurdless of junk or treasure, a 5 star feedback is expected!" PT Barnum would have loved it. He could also consider using spell check.
Read his thing carefully. He mentions over 10 available. This would indicate that he will only sell a little more than 10 cents for what ever.
I too liked that word "regaurdless". Sure wonder what that means. Also, think it's odd that he states no refunds? OH well, that's ebay.
What I make from the word id this; re- to do again gaurd- his accent meaning guard whis is to protect less- meaning to take away the guard So to reguard and then take away the guard is simply left with "re" Does this make any sense?? RickieB
"Testors" cement is the best.....sniff that stuff and relive the Pink Floyd concert (or e-bay auction) of your choice.
