    Hi guys

I have another US coin which I would appreciate some help with. I collect UK coins but occasionally we get other coins in the lots from auction

This 1852 3c looks like a nice example. Could any US coinage experts help with grading and value? I thinks it's about VF

    Cheers

The reverse may be close to VF, IMHO, but the obverse is not as nice. It also appears a bit pitted, as if it was stored improperly or buried briefly. In Fine condition, Coin Prices (Sept. issue) lists it at $37.50 in US dollars.

Yeah, I'd say closer to F than VF as well.
