Several weeks ago I bought a nice 1939 D Jeff nickel from a fellow CT member, then updated my book for the last couple of years (except 2009 which I haven't found yet), then search and finally found a 1951. I put them in the Dansco and consider it completed and up to date (it is still 09 so I'm fine that I haven't found them yet). For you Dad!!! This is the 5th Dansco of his that I've completed since his passing. I've completed the Kennedy Half, the Sacagawea dollars, the Roosevelt dimes, the State Quarters (found Alaska P last week), and now the Jeffs. I feel a little like Tom Hanks character in Terminal, completing his Dad's collection. Next up Franklin Halves (missing 2) and Washington Quarters (missing only a 1932-D.....a little more pricey than completing the others, lol). Thanks for listening.
Congrats on the Jeffersons as I am an a nickel nut my self. What two Franklins ya missing I have those completed in MS-65 or better
Congrats on completeing your Jeff dansco. I know what an accomplishment that is as I completed mine ealier this yr also.
You won't find a business strike D. Mannys first P went for $130+, and that was 4 months ago. My guess is with this long interval, the first D will go for $250+.
