florin&half crown

    Good eveing from ireland
    I got these two laltey a 28 florin and a 39 half crown grading in ireland is ef or unc now forget that they are irish for a minute as i like the way the US grade's there coin's how would you grade them i got them for 25 euros as unc for both coins
    Harder to get them in this grade than what you think

    Very nice coins. I wouldn't venture a guess on grade as I can't tell enough from the pics.

    From the photos they look AU but as mentioned the photos are small and not very revealing.

    Nice pick up Dave Not knowing the luster and with the pictures being a wee bit small it's hard to tell , I say from what I can see they look to be AU + Whats the metal made of silver? You paid around $32.50 USD ....post some more details Dave . Cheers Paddy

    there's a good book called british coins market values 2009,costs €13.50 in waterstone has a section on irish coin values

    You will like it here a lot smart egg's here but not to shy too to say they all have med mistake's in the past and like myself still make some

    i have just worked out how to use new camera this week,been putting some coins on ebay.yours looks great probably about ef,should ask about €30 for it.

    I have nice 1930, 31, 33, 34 and 54 halfcrowns - and yes, they are indeed hard to get in that condition! I also have a 1943, but that's in less than Fine (or maybe just fine) - but hey, it's a 1943!!
