:hail: Good eveing from ireland I got these two laltey a 28 florin and a 39 half crown grading in ireland is ef or unc now forget that they are irish for a minute as i like the way the US grade's there coin's how would you grade them i got them for 25 euros as unc for both coins Harder to get them in this grade than what you think Dave
Nice pick up Dave Not knowing the luster and with the pictures being a wee bit small it's hard to tell , I say from what I can see they look to be AU + Whats the metal made of silver? You paid around $32.50 USD ....post some more details Dave . Cheers Paddy

A good online guide to Irish prices, I use it as a reference for my Irish ... http://www.irishcoinage.com/MODCAT.HTM I have nice 1930, 31, 33, 34 and 54 halfcrowns - and yes, they are indeed hard to get in that condition! I also have a 1943, but that's in less than Fine (or maybe just fine) - but hey, it's a 1943!!
