a few months back i had picked up a 1922 $10 gold certificate FR#1173. it was originally graded by PMG 35 *CHOICE VERY FINE* i thought the note was under graded. it was just bugging me. so i resubmitted it to PCGS and it came back today. PCGS 50 **ABOUT NEW** now they did notate a small tear that is in the right margin of the note. which is visible in the first slab. it really doesn't detract from the note at all. here is the beauty with a grade it deserves. enjoy as i will :thumb:
Wow! Very spiffy looking bill, it is very sharp. Someday maybe I will try to collect paper money, until then I will just admire the paper from afar. I bet you're happy, good for you.
Nice up grade for sure I sent a 1922 Gold $20 into PMG it came back as an 35 VF like yours only & EPQ Now I wish I had it regraded by PCGS. I sold it and got $700.00 or it so all was not lost but gee I also was so surprised to see it come back at a 35 . Maybe PMG don't like gold notes.
If my 2007 Black Book serves me...your bill went from $285 to something just under $1000...Congrats!
Congrats on getting your note upgraded. I don't collect paper money and I could even tell that the first one was undergraded. Good job!
