i won but

    i won 3 lot's at heritage last night
    1994-w p.o.w silver eagle ms69 pcg lot no 20806
    2007 -w pr 70 ultra cameo ngc lot no 20830
    1927-s peace dollar ms64 ngc lot no 20752
    All 3 for $1000.
    Now for the but part
    I set up a line of credt with a visa my bank cofirmed that a dollar was taken out so when i when i got my invoice they say only wire transfer or check
    What was the point of setting up the visa

    They were probably testing it to make sure it was a valid account. Plus, setting up a credit card also marks you as 18 and over (whether you are or not) so they know you can legally purchase the coins with a line of credit.

    I suspect(?) the dollar amount was the reason for the change in payment method.

    The Visa was to confirm you're old enough and have the credit. The wire or check is because if they let you pay with Visa it cost them 2 1/2 - 3%. The check or wire does not.

    The ol' credit card overhead.
