Just picked this one up the other day. Typical weak strike for a New Orleans dollar. Nice color. Thinking about sending it to PCGS. There are some nice stirations on the coin.

Is it the pictures? The reverse looks nice, but on the obverse the glare seems to make it look polished.

I do not know if it is in the range that would be worth slabbing, but to me it is a nice strike for an o mint, I would make a stab at it coming in about a 62

I was thinking the OBV . was cleaned also the rev. is very nice but the Obv. seems alittle funny as if it was at one time cleaned by your pictures. IMHO

It is the pictures, I was playing around with some photo editing software. The coin is not cleaned nor polished.

Weather its the camera or not, still seems to be one of my favorite cons no matter what.
