I have seen a couple posts that made me think there was a place where people could check NGCs website to verify the numbers. I checked their website, and I didn't see anything like that - do I have to register with them to do this?
I just went to their website and telephoned them. I wanted to verify a 1924-D 1c MS64RB as it was in an old holder of theirs. They told me it checked out. They should have a link on their site, don't you think?
I would think so... I was looking for a place where I could just enter the number, and it would search their database and verify what coin is supposed to be in that holder, etc... I think I have seen someone here post responses that lead me to think they had this as a service on their website, but I sure didn't see it.
They did have it at one time...cause I have used it.....but for about 6 months I haven't been able to find it.... Speedy
