Ok, so I am watching HSN just to gauge some pricing and other stuff and well you know my name and all. I can't get enough of the Red Oak Preso Boxes! :kewl:

So, I was thinking about putting sets of these together. They had a set of all the Sacagawea's (35 coins total) and were doing the same thing for the Presidential ones.

Ultimately for the Presidential (60 coins total?) I will buy the proof sets and the mint sets. But how were the uncirculated coins issued? Were they dealer only too like the Sacagawea's? So, the mint sets for the P and D satin finish, and the proof set for the S coin. Then where do I get the uncirculated P and D? From dealer rolls only? Individually? Or am I way off base here?

Concerning the Sacagawea's, it looks like that the uncirculated were dealer only aside from like two coins that were released to the public. Anyway, they said that in 2005 they started making the satin finish ones in the mint sets. So, I am assuming here (yeah I know ;)) that I should be able to get the 2000 - 2005 mint sets and proof set and be covered. Then get the mint sets and proof set for 2005 to 2009 and be covered. But how do I get those uncirculated P and D for 2005 to 2009? Again dealer only rolls? Individually?

Or am I way off base right now? It sounds like that a bunch were not released to the public via circulation.

    Thanks for your help!

PS Be gentle with me I am still a noob here and I have going on 39 hours now with maybe a few minutes of sleep. :headbang: :crying:

The P&D coins for 2005-2009 were offered by the Mint in rolls. In fact the 2009 Sacs are still available on the Mint website at $35.95 per roll plus shipping. 2005-2008 will probably have to come from a dealer or other collector.

Thanks for the info. So, I should probably just buy some of the 2005-2008 in graded coins or singles? Or do you think there would be some rolls around?
