    Tribute Coin Set containing a PF70 Lincoln Comm. Dollar & MS70 Lincoln Comm. Dollar along with four Lincoln Cents PF69 Ultra Cameo Full Rds for $ 4999.00 , graded by NGC. This set is being offered on Craigslist , what say you:)

    I've got to agree with you, wow , its like he couldn't wait for the Lincoln Chronicle Set to come out & instead of fliping that he thought he'd jump the gun;)

    I would pass on it. I would pass on it for 200, I would consider it around 100, I would jump at it for 50.

    I've bought some nice coins and gotten some really good deals on Craigslist. That ad is ridiculous, even for craigs. Buyer beware and on craigslist be even more aware!!!

    Yes, at least he puts his in a RED OAK presentation box, which probably cost him a quarter in China:rolleyes:, which probably cost him a quarter in China:rolleyes:, which probably cost him a quarter in China:rolleyes:. Did you ever notice how many times that guy repeats himself :crying::hammer:

    I would say that while right now that may seem outrageous, but remember, there will be absolutely no penny's minted ever again beginning in 2011. I think you could perhaps negotiate that asking price with the seller to your benefit. If I were going to be around another 40 years, I think I might invest in this one.

    I'd rather get the set for mint pricing and take my chances. Also these are coins I would put in an album not a plastic slab.

    Cool Lincoln set, but I'd rather just keep in individual slabs. If you really like the multi slab, would be much cheaper to have NGC make one for you w/ your own coins.

    Also, there is no credible information out there about when the cent will stop being made, if ever. The link posted above isn't good information by the way for those of you who looked but didn't notice the date or read the entire way through.
