So I have noticed that the 4 piece 95% copper penny set annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd............... I see that people who order now won't get jack until x-mas. I am going to speculate for a moment, and consider two things, one being that the mint has set a time limit and not a production limit on this item. Two that there seems to be a GINORMOUS demand for coins this year. That being said, my guess is these guys won't be worth much of anything. Unless there is something different about these proofs from all the other 4 penny lens that were with the the annual quarter sets. Now for the next part of my post has a question, hence the question marks in my title. Are we going to see the same lens in the Lincoln silver dollar set as we saw in all the other sets this year? And is there any sign of when that set is coming out, because I see that the schedule on the mint sight only goes until yesterday?
The Mint site has changed the schedule. It now has three buttons at the top. The auto display is the current sale items. Second button is the immediate future offerings and third is the schedule for the rest of the year. I think the background on the Proof Set of Lincolns is different from the one included with the Clad and Silver proof sets.
Based off the pictures on the Mint site, they are the exact same, but they do not show the other side. If someone else has seen the other side and can post a pic that would be helpful. This just might be a case of the box on the outside being what makes it so valuable.
