Interesting Marketing Idea

Here is something you don't see everyday...... The owner of my local barbershop also owns a pawnshop around the corner. The owner is a coin collector and has a small variety of coins displayed for sale. Most local collectors forget that she is there and I don't know how much coin business she does. I have gone in there a few times and bought a few things, but she is not one to negotiate on price much, so I give me business to the full time coin dealer in town.

But today I went to get a haircut and posted up on the wall was this poster. A pretty good marketing ploy if you ask me. The poster only went up a few days ago and as of today there have been no takers but it will be interesting to see how this works out for them in the long run.

Any thoughts?

wish they would do that around here somewhere. I've got plenty of cull dollars that I could use instead of paying $20 or whatever the cheapo places here charge

wonder if they'd take an old beat up silver certificate??? isn't that technically a silver dollar???

 

I would like a straight razor shave, old fashioned hand whipped shaving cream applied with a brush and a hot towel. Totally worth it and (kinda) gets around the being ethical if they rip someone.
