you can see the double at the top and at the bottom of the building. Jeffersons doubled on the front. you can see the seperate dies on all of the lettering also. Not sure what one would go for. can't quite make out the doubling but it looks to be in good shape. I have been finding quite a few nice ones in circulation lately. did you find that one in change or did you buy it? Stewart
heres better pictures notice the reverse top of dome and the bottom where the stairs are. notice the double face images and all down the front side but notice the eye. it's jagged like it was broke off. the A and the R on the reverse all has noticable 2 layers when you see them live. not machine doubled. tell me what you think.thanks
Somewhere in my brain there's information about that coin, but I can't bring it to the surface right now. I do know that I have one just like it; with the doubling on the dome of Monticello. I picked it up for 75 cents; I know that much. It is very distinct doubling, and I do remember researching it. I must not have come up with too thrilling a result, though, or else I'd remember. In any case, I'll try to snap some pics of mine and try to figure out again what it is.
