Squirrels & silver!!!!

Had I not seen this with my own eyes, I would not believe it. I was at my friends house today and we started talkinig coins and he showed me some of his collection. a complete liberty standing half collection and a complete benjamin franklin collection. The neat thing was when we went out back and he took a silver benji, and placed it in his hand and then rapped another one against it. In a few minutes 2 squirrels came up to be fed.
It has something to do with the sound of silver on silver!!! promise I was sober when I saw this!!!:bigeyes::bigeyes:

Were the squirrels named Nelson & Bunker?

 

I'll bet a lot of people don't remember Nelson and Bunker.

 

They were the Hunt Brothers reincarnated.

 

Not so long ago, I kept a "Dark Room".

I used silver to capture light. Nelson & "Bunkie" really buggered the market
for a while in their attempt to Have It All.

Moot point with today's tech & I no longer feel the need to Hunt them down because of their fundamentalist greed.

 

Maybe that's why Rzage loves silver so much? :mouth:

Squirrels are attracted to NUTS, not silver. Maybe the guy beating two rare benjis together was the attraction.

We used to do the same thing as kids, only it was Washington quarters. Apparently the sound emmitted is very similar to squirrel chatter.....:smile

If you have a bushy taled squirrel parked on your chest i do not find it amusing. This wa real life. I have no idea if the silver was the reason they camw, but they came.:hail::hail:

Sounds like someone rang the dinner bell. When I was much younger or should I say much, much younger, I use to help a guy feed his cows. All he had to do would honk his horn and the cows would come a running and you had better not be in their way.

 

I have no idea if we need any trace silver or gold in our diets , but the more we have in hand the better:eat::thumb:

The only squirrels we get are the ones that tease the dog. they come down to the door just long enough to get the dogs attention, dog chases squirrel up the fence. Squirrel laughs, dog goes back inside and the whole thing starts over again.

 

I'm going to try that. I wonder if it works with 40% silver.

 

Sounds like a bunch of smart squirrels , my dog loves to chase squirrels and cats , after eleven years he still hasn't caught one , well except one cat and that cat didn't want to run away .
