Hey man, I was wondering if we could get another 3,or 400 "US Flying Cents" posted daily. Just pages simply aren't enough...we need volumes, chapters.
Great coins. The first 1857 looks like quite a die clash. Of course I may just be seeing things. Is it?
The first is a clash from a $20 gold piece die. The second is from a filled die. It's also cleaned and damaged.
Here are a couple of mine. The 1857 has a small curved clip which I think makes this coin very unique since it is rare to find Flying Eagle cents with errors. The 1858 is just a pretty piece!
