Hello Biggie, That looks like a fine deal you got there. Congrats. Which dates do you still need for your 50 year collection?
Thanks guys, I still need the 2008 and the 2009 when it is released, then I need to try and get uncirculated versions of all the 1982 & 1983 coins. Think I am going to go for the rest of the Jefferson nickels next. I also have to pick up a few silver proof sets that I don't have. I have found that the 3 pocket currency pages that go in 3 ring binders are nice ways to display mint sets. I recently found a company that makes 2 pocket ones that work good for proof sets. I like to present them like this so I can easily look at them whenever I want. I have all the original government packaging safely stored away, so they can be put back in their original state if my children decide to sell them when I'm gone.
Personally I just got the Dansco Albums with proofs for each series and cracked open all my sets. It is a really nice way to look at the coins and I don't think my kids will have issues trying to sell the albums in the future. Guess I just hate bulky things that don't stack well so I tossed all of the mint packaging but kept the certification cards with the coin details.
