Was wandering what I have? Got it from my grandfather after he passed. There is I think 6 coins in the set, and I have found all but the big, about the size of a ASE silver coin, on various sites. Is it just a medal or something? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

    Welcome Boater,
Post some pics, so someone can answer your questions. I really like the looks of Japanese coins but I only have a couple cause I just don't know that much about them. :hail:

What you have must be medals of some sort.

There was a ¥100 coin minted to commemorate the 1970 Osaka Exposition and the ¥5,000 commemorative for the 1990 International Garden and Greenery Exposition in Osaka has the legend "OSAKA EXPO '90", but those are the only Japanese coins related to any expositions in Osaka.
