German 1950 10 pfennig

    About 1.6 billion of those (10 Pfennig 1950) were minted, and a little more than 500 million with the F (Stuttgart) mintmark. However, 1950 was the very first year that appears on coins from this country (Federal Republic of Germany) and for this denomination was "frozen" until the mid-60s. So yours was made some time between 1950 and 1965 ...

    It's a little bit hard to make out, but is that the mintmark, top center, above the 10?

    Yep, that is the "F" that I referred to. Others would be A = Berlin (as from 1990), D = Munich, G = Karlsruhe, and J = Hamburg.
