I think I finally got how to put pictures so we can zoom in on them. I use a thing called (fotoflexer). let me try this again and see if it still works. you should be able to click on the picture and it will zoom in. hope this works!!!!!!!!!!! thanks BILL also take a look at this pic, its an eye on a 2007 penny. think its an extra eyelid? still have to work out the bugs on getting it bigger
i still have to work out the bugs, took me a month to figure out how to make it zoom in. will take me another to make the pics clear!!!!!!!!!!!!! bill
lets try this. yep i think i got it, cool, looks like a decent picture of the eye. finally now i can stop foolin around with the pics. just left click once on the top photo thanks bill
The first one I can see the eye, the second one is still fuzzy. It does look like a die chip in the eye. Not sure if that is the same or not.
Where do you find this fotoflexer, not only do my pictures still come out small but sometimes it tells me it failed and I can't even add pictures. Bob
when you first go online. type in (fotoflexer) it will come up. you can make the pics big. got to fool around a little, it took me a bit, but it works try it
And why does it say you failed ? It's there, if you just read it. There are 2 reasons usually - 1, your file size is too big and 2 - your file type is not permitted. It has always been this way, nothing has changed in regard to that. The one thing that has changed is the size that the pics show up to be in the threads. Yes, the recent update changed that. It did so for 2 reasons. 1 - so that the pages would load faster for everybody and 2 - so that people with dial up connections would no thave to wait for 2 weeks for the page to load. Now I have posted about and answered people's questions about how to properly post pics more times than I can count in the past few weeks. And in every single case, if you would just follow the correct proceedure you will not have a problem at all. Now what do think a section titled Support and Feedback is for ? It's so members can post about problems they might be having, or tell us their opinions of the site. And of course any time you have a problem, if you'd just go and read the threads in the Support and Feedback section, you will most likely find the answer to your problem is already there. Here are a just a few of the recent threads on the subject of picture issues. http://www.cointalk.com/t65956/ http://www.cointalk.com/t65813-2/ http://www.cointalk.com/t66998/ And when all else fails, try reading this one. http://www.cointalk.com/t8565/ And then check how old that thread is.
For me this site is running much faster and I love it. I have noticed that most of the thumbnails folks post will not zoom in. They come up in a new window but at the same size.
Yes, but in every single case that I have examined it is because they are trying to upload files that are 1MB and 2MB in size. When they do that, the software, by default, compresses the size of the pic to that small size you see. In bytes, that small pic is the minimum 250KB, but in pixels it is much smaller. But if you reduce the file size BEFORE you upload it, then you can see the pics at full size. It's really quite simple.
well for me, ive tried everything that everyone else has said and the pics are still small. I was driving myself and my family nuts with it. maybe its the camera that I use, I dont know. but now that I found this (fotoflexer) Its like using photobucket. At least I can make bigger pics with it. whatever works!!!! thanks BILL did anyone else try this new one? fotoflexer?
yorkie your pics are small because they were small to begin with. Coin Talk has never, ever, enlarged a pic beyond what that pic was to start with. If you upload a pic that is 80 pixels by 80 pixels - then all we are going to see is a pic that is 80x80. What you needed all along was photo software so you could enlarge your pics. Of course it would have been a whole lot easier for you if you had just changed your camera settings. Then your pics would come out HUGE !
