I was watching an old, old episode of the Twilight Zone this evening that was based in Las Vegas. To make a long story short this guy got hooked on playing the old one armed bandit. It was paying off in what appeared to be Peace Dollars. Pretty cool.

Do you remember the name of the episode ?

I'm a huge Twilight Zone fan. I have all the episodes on DVD, but haven't watched 'em all yet. I'd love to catch the one you're describing.

In that episode, was the guy's name Franklin and the machine kept calling his name?

Not sure if it was on the Twilight Zone but there was that one where a guy bought a newspaper, flipped the coin into tray, it stood up on end. He was able to read minds all day long. On the way home he flipped another coin into the same tray and knocked his original one over. The newsboy kept it that way all day long.
In a few of those old Perry Mason stories being replayed all the time, there was one about a half worth thousands of dollars. They were carrying it around like loose change. I like those Perry Mason stories since they always showed all the old cars which were actually new then. If you do watch those, ever notice all the cars are convertibles?

Yep, that was from the The Twilight Zone.

It was Dick York / Darrin Stephens from Bewitched who flipped the coin.

Dick York played in at least one other TZ. He portrayed an army officer whose friend could foresee who was going to get killed the next day.
