just a bit like a Peace Dollar! but i've seen crazier mistakes made by the rookies, we've all got to start somewhere I guess.

Looks like an honest mistake made by someone who obviously knows nothing about coin.

I sent the seller a note about the mistake.

The seller has a bunch of other morgans listed, and was probably using a previous listing as a template. the seller can go back and correct it if they get Crusty's note in time to do so.

Yeah it is an honest mistake but don't you think he should correct it? I mean, people ARE bidding on this item.

It just seems logical to do a minimum of research on an item before listing. If you don't know what you're selling, check other listings and find out what you have before making a silly mistake. Or maybe make a mistake on purpose to draw attention to your auction...

I sometimes intentionally look for listings on ebay that may be unnoticed because they are in the wrong category, or the seller doesn't know what they are selling. You could find a deal that way I suppose. Crusty sent the Seller a note about the error and it's up to the Seller to now correct that if they can/will.

Well if no one tells him how is he going to correct it not knowing it's wrong? That's why I just notified him rather than make fun of the listing.

Nice of you to do so and I agree a little mistake, I think we all been there before on ebay.
