#1 Mexico, KM#377.13, 1882 Zs (Zacatecas) mint, JS (straight J) (J. S. de Santa Ana) F=$10.00, VF=$12.00, XF=$18.00, UNC=$60.00 #2 French Indo-China, KM#5a.1, 1926 F=$8.00, VF=$10.00, XF=$17.50, UNC=$100.00 #3 Mexico KM#408.??? there should be mintmark and assayer's initials between UN PESO and 902,7 values will range from $12.00 in F and up #4 same values as #2 above #5 I don't think is real. the obverse is from a Hungary 5 korona (KM#488), issued in 1900, 1906-1909, at 24g, .900 silver. the reverse is from a Panama 50 centesimo (KM#5), issued in 1904-1905, at 25g, .900 silver. Seeing as the Hungarian pieces were struck at the Mint in Budapest (BP below truncation), and the Panamanian pieces were struck at the US Mint in Philadelphia, I cannot see that it is a legitimate error.
thanx.... but are u sure about the 5th coin? Thanx a lot mate.... But are you sure about the 5th coin? I bought it from a flea market... and he gave me this for only 7$... He was not a professional... Please do confirm.... and let me know how can i identify a coin as genuine or not... Please.... I'm quite new in coin collection....
Kuhli is correct. It's obvious that Panamanian and Hungarian designs could never be genuinely mated. Therefore it's an obvious fake. Considering that the other coins feature the same toning as that one it is possible that all of them are suspect of being counterfeit. One thing to check would be the weights: #1: 27.07 grams #2: 27.215 grams #3: 27.07 grams #4: 27.215 grams #5: 25 and/or 24 grams
