    not really sure, but saw a similar symbol on a Palestinian coin just now- that would be interesting as my childhood collection also included Isreali currency - I have no idea where I got some of these. . . either way, its a good base collection to start from!

    Its definitely an Egyptian coin, 10 Mills dating back to 1973. Unfortunately I dont have a catalogue to give a specific value, but i wouldn't expect to have a great value. The Egyptian coins that have an average great value, would be prior to the establishing of the Egyptin republic in 1952. Either ways, a very nice coin to have.

    Did you mean 10 Piastres? Just did a quick check and it looks like KM #430.
    I am sure that I do not read Egyptian. :)

    Its 10 Mils, (Milimmat in Egyptian). 10 Piasters (Kouroush in Egyptian), this one says mills. :) 10 milliemmes equal 1 piaster.

    Now this is Saudi, and you are right its 10 Piasters (Kurush) dating back 1987. :)
