Howdy peeps, Compare this: http://cgi.ebay.com/Unknown-1620-silver-coin_W0QQitemZ180400280535 To this: http://www.antiquanova.com/P5.htm The 2nd one has a "S" at the lion's feet, which signifies it's a silver replica and the Ebay one has damage in the same area, which makes me think the "S" was obscured to hide it's a replica. What say ye? Ribbit Ps: I have not messaged the seller, since I do not know these well enough to out it, so if anyone knows these well and the Ebay one is a fake, please message the seller. :thumb:
After looking at the coin for sale on eBay, I would agree that it a fake. I have one of these in my collection, but its in the safety deposit box at the bank.
