Just received from an eBay win. This is one of a series of 59 coins from the British Mandate of Palestine. I am continuing my quest to build a set in AU-58+ condition.
I have the same coin, but of 1937 and not in very good condition. I ll take a picture and post it. I also have the 50 mils, i will also post it soon. great coin to have. Cheers,
Zohar, When you mention 59 coins - I have all of the 10 varieties that were minted - I don't think there were any others. Do you mean each year of each variety, for example or am I missing something. Do you include the early 1949 25 Mils coin in that count (KM8)? -Daniel
I am referring to Palestine: 1, 2, 5, 10, 50, 100 mils series (minted between 1927-1946), prior to statehood (1948). The 1949 25 Mils is an Israeli coin - try getting the 1948 as its much harder to get hold of.
I have a complete set in VF-XF. I have about 30 at AU-58 and higher. I plan on completing the slab set and then selling the complete lower grade set.

This is my set, although it does not have my bronze, KM5, 20 Mil (1942). I think I just couldn't fit it on the scanner (actually, I think I shot this before I had it). -Daniel
Harfoush - that is a nicely toned original piece. These have a variance in mintages by year (they minted "on demand") with a few key dates.
Zohan, Love the 100 mils. very good condition. Am not really familliar with grading, but what does the 100 mils grade? and if you can give my coin a grade and value I would really much appreciate it. Thank you in advance. Cheers,
