Lincoln LP2 rolls back on Mint website

    I noticed last night that the mint has put up the LP2 rolls again. How about putting the LP1's back up as well!

    That is about the sleaziest practice going. It makes every offering subject to doubt. The US Mint are absolute scum.

    I agree, that's bull! They have the LP3's out there, it's just not right to put something that was discontinued back on the market again. Looks like these rolls will be worth 50 cents for all eternity now. :headbang:

    B freakin S. Now makes you wonder if you should order the proof lincoln cent and dollar set that comes out in October.

    I saw where 300,000 units had been sold...wow

    Thats 300,000 x50= 15000000 cents....and now they will sell more??

    If they offer the lp1's again there will be some coin dealers scrambling to sell or should I say FIRE SALE!!!!!!!!

    Well I'd love to get my hands on some of the mint LP1 rolls without paying an arm and a leg. As for the chronicles set coming in October (the silver dollar and the pennies), there are only 50,000 proof dollar coins left and the congressional legislation that authorized them was very explicit. There won't be any more of those made.
