Here is mine - certified VF-20. It looks like the same MM and the samedie punch and the same spacing to me.
Looks genuine to me and I agree with the sellers grade assessment. I see a slight separation of cheek and jaw. I bet that coin goes for $400 or higher.
It looks good. If I squint really hard I think I can see the crack from the bust to rim.The mm and date spacing looks correct, and the grade is what I expected looking at the coin first. Jim
I agree looks genuine to me as well, I would say fine grade. I think your right the mm does look less worn than the date but who knows it may just be the picture or a weaker strike on the date.
Looks ok , but the pictures aren't really good enought to confirm it or deny it , and at that money it better be slabbed by a good tpg , there's just too many counterfeits out there and not all of them come from China , rzage
I see nothing wrong with the date. The ones with an altered date frequently look like this "19 14" (where the 1 was formerly a 4). Doesn't look like an added mintmark either (but these are often difficult to detect in photos).
I'm also basing my decision on the buyer. Frosty has done me ok in the past. The snowman knows his coins.
the date does appear to be real but that is odd that the MM is so clear with so little wear compared to the rest of the coin. That scares me a bit. However, the seller does say no problems with returns.
I feel the coin is genuine, and the seller seems to be open and honest. I just have a hard time spending that kind of money when I'm not face to face with the seller. If you do purchase it, I'd highly recommend getting a few professional opinions on authenticity.
