    Vertigo Did someone say bust?

I was reading somewhere about a book called "bust half fever" by Edgar Souders. (i think) i did some searching and found a digital edition on a disc. But would prefer an actual book. Any idea where to find one?

These things are sold out everywhere. 1st and 2nd. You'd think it was published a hundred years ago instead of 25 or whatever.

They show up on ebay occasionally. Set an email alert for the next one.

Search Amazon, eBay in books by title...you might get a hit.

I found my copy on Abebooks.com. It's a site of multiple booksellers.

Already did and was sold out, same with abe. They listed one but once you click on it, sold out.

I finally found one and it came yesterday. It was on Amazon advertised and pictured was the first edition. I was more wanting the second but would take this one just fine. When it arrived it was actually the second edition. But at least it was the right book!

Congratulations on finding it. Can you tell us about it? Does it focus on the history of bust halves, or is it more like a mini-Red Book?

It’s all about the various Overton varieties for the type 2 CBH dollars (1807-1836). It does not cover the draped bust series (before 1807) or the type 3 reeded edge halves (1836-1839) though. Need to check which edition I own...

I have both editions, signed I think-- I'll have to check.

    Fun read.

I checked, the 1st is not signed, the 2nd is signed

Some places where I saw one that had sold they have been selling for 80.00 plus. I got this for 45.
