    Looks like the large S to me. There are a few VAMs for the large S variety (VAM 9, 39). Check the date, VAM 9 is the 80/79 variety and is in the top 100.

    is the large S its self worth anything

    Not really, the VAM 2 is common, with a Interest level 1 and Rarity level 2. At most it would have a very small premium.
