The Denver nickel production surprise of June got a little bigger in the month of July when another 6,960,000 coins ran off the presses, bringing the 2009 total to 46,800,000.

Wow, that's almost enough for everyone in the U.S. to have one.

 

Still, though, NOT ONE found in circulation.......at least not one that has hit e-bay yet or by a collector on this forum........interesting!

 

I notice the '09 nickels hit a low of $18 a roll, and are climbing back to $30+. The '09 P dimes are climbing back to $85 a roll, only 2 rolls a day listed. Only one or two sellers have nickel and dime rolls, and it looks like they don't have many rolls left. Manny please give us your input as to availability.

 

My friend went to Puerto Rico and got a roll of nickels for me. I should have it soon.

 

i have been to 6 banks here locally and none have had any at all.
