......this has happened a few times before. i wanted to post in a different forum. once i believe it was for looking at buy offers from members and the following message popped up!
    grizz,
you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

    1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
    2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

what the HECK is this supposed to be?? first of all i'm NOT trying to edit someone else's account!! and the other 'are yous' don't apply either! what's the story? anyone else get this 'message' before? please explain.

Based on your comments I'd bet you were looking in the either the Open forum or the Auction forum. And you are supposed to get that message there when you try to reply to a post in either of those sections.

Nobody is allowed to reply to posts in those sections. If you have an interest in a coin being offered then you are supposed to contact the seller by PM - and only by PM.

There are feelers in the computer world that sends out signals that enter your system, check you out, report back to a central organization. If you ever were convicted of a crime, you are not allowed to go or enter certain places automatically. Of course for a slight fee I could have the boys on the South side of Chicago fix those things for you. :goofer::)
Hope you know I'm kidding of course. I too have seen that message and just moved on to something else. To many other things of interest to worry about that message.

.......i'm not worried about the message only annoyed. like i stated before i wasn't TRYING to access anything other than a thread response. i don't see what is accomplished by assuming someone is breaking some sort of rule by the posting. like i said it's annoying. the end.

Do you understand what I said grizz ? When you got that message, were you trying to post a reply in either the Open forum or the Auction forum ?

If you were anywhere else on the forum, and you got that message - then there is a glitch and we need to know about it so we can fix it. So please answer my question.

I was not trying to tell you that you were breaking the rules, I was merely trying to explain to you what the rules are for those 2 sections. It's quite simple - we don't allow anybody to post replies in those 2 sections. But that rule only apllies to those 2 sections.
