I have now found more dollar coins in circulation (2) than I have any other denomination. I got 2 John Tyler Presidential dollars in change tonight.

That's interesting. I've spent a bunch of dollar coins but I've never even seen anyone get one in change.

I'm going to give a ton of 2009 Sacagaweasout this weekend bartending at our county fair. I'll post people's reactions a soon as I finish.

Wow!! Good for you, that never happens to me. If it did I would buy a lottery ticket for sure. :D

There is a car wash that I go to every week here in Mount Dora, Fl it's kind of like a Mikes car wash, and when you put your bills in and get change it's always a mix of dollar coins so I get 3 every week, even 1979 Susan B's and of course I keep them.

I keep getting 2009 p dimes here and there. I'll probably sell a few more on ebay this week. I have gotten several tubes of both LP1 and LP2 from circulation as well. I even got a 2009 Kennedy half from roll searching.....

I've yet to see a nickel, dime, quarter, half, or dollar coin from 2009 in circulation. I'm beginning to see quite a few LP1 and LP2 cents. Of course, they are all P's because I'm in New York. It is almost unreal that I haven't seen a nickel, dime, or quarter from 2009 yet. They are difficult to find in central NY.

I have never gotten a dollar coin in change other than the post office or train satation.

I have not seen one 2009 coin in change this year.

Same here in Illinois. A few Dimes and Quarters but still nothing else. Banks all have piles of those baby dollars right on the counter and some tellers ask if you want them. According to them, not many people want them. At coin shows people are already selling 2009 coins in slabs. IN SLABS? I couldn't imagine someone buying a 2009 coin in a slab but there they are.

My son brought me 4 Lincoln Log Cabins today that he received in change from his lunch trip to Jack in the Box. Looks like they're starting to hit the streets.

Been getting plenty of the 2009 Native American dollar coins and Presidential golden dollar coins from MTA ticket vending machines in the NYC / NJ area. Have only found one Puerto Rico Quarter Dollar coin and no other 2009 denominations to date from ordinary transactions. I do not roll search much, mainly nickels when I do.
