This Price Seems a Little Steep.

I understand the prices for the first spouse coins due to their gold content...but to me this seems ridiculous. Here is the bronze medal version of Jackson's Liberty and they want $195 for it. I know it's PCGS slabbed but come on. Maybe I'm wrong and they are selling for this (I know nothing about these medals) but my understanding is they were the cheap alternative. This seems crazy to me.

Of course your right. However, remember Beanie Babies? When they first came out they were way up there in value. Many sold for hundreds of dollars since they were the really biggy of their time. Same with Baseball/Football cards, Hot Wheel cars and many other items when they first come out. Many people jump on the sale of those full well knowing in the near future those will be on the a table at a flea market for a fraction of what they are now.
I have an extensive Buggy whip collection for the possibility of the return of the horse and carriage. :smile:rolleyes:

That's just the price for one graded MS69RD... If you buy one graded MS67RD or so or just buy the the raw 4 coin set from the mint it is much much cheaper.
