First, this Bronze medal was made like "Open Book" in his relation between Oberse and Reverse. Second, On the oberse, by the left foot I see some doubling. On the oberse also there's a rare mark on the left side of the date. Now; on the reverse "check out the right-back leg of the horse". Thank for any comments and for your time.
I believe that these were struck in what is called "medal turn" or "medallic orientation". These are not coins but medals or medallions, so to speak. So that part is normal. I can't see what you are asking about on the horse's leg. I think I see some unusual doubling near the foot and the base of the design there but I can't be sure. Thanks, Bill
