I just tried my hand at photo editing the seller photos of some of my recent Morgan dollar purchases. I'm new to this so I'd like some feedback on how I did. The photos themselves are not the greatest, but until I get a good camera, they will have to do. I've uploaded the pictures into "My Morgans" album.
Try this kanga http://www.cointalk.com/members/swendicoin/albums/502/. Looks like a nice batch of morgans - wish the pictures were larger.
I must have done something wrong on the uploads. Two of the pictures are larger than the others (1881 and 1883-CC). But all were the same size when I uploaded. I really need better pictures to work with though. The 1883-CC is a particularly bad photo.
I figured out where I went wrong. I had the size of the pictures in pixels within the allowed range, but the size in KB was above the limit. So I guess the upload process automatically reduced the size of the pictures. I redid the 1900-O and it looks much larger now. But as I said before, the photo itself isn't that great.
Nic egroup of Morgans, Swendi. I'm currently working on filling my Morgan album, money permitting. The most frustrating part is counterfeits. You have the right idea purchasing slabbed coins.
