I tried to post a short coin turn video, but the mp4 file extension isn't recognized. Hmm. May try to see if I can get my phone to shoot in a non-native format.
From what I can see in the photos I'm going to say AU55, I feel like there are too many spots/marks/dings to put it at AU58 or higher, I'll be interested to see what everyone else has to say about it tho.
Man, it's hard to tell with that toning. Some of the toning disturbances look like "scratches", though I know they aren't. I'll guess 63 but I guess it could be upper AU as well. It is really hard to say in those photos.
I'll leave this open for a while. But, let me say, no one has guessed this yet. And there's no trick (like a "details", "cleaned", or "grafitti" subgrade).
Better lighting and positioning? I have a 25.5 megapixel Nikon. I still take crappy coin pictures—I am into landscape photography.
That is better. Looks like a high grade AU coin. I will go AU 58. If they graded higher, I think the coin has minor wear on the cap. Eagle’s breast also shows wear.
The picture is certainly difficult to decipher....I'll guess MS 65 (from what I can see, there are no hits/marks...luster is hard to tell...eye appeal might have actually kept it limited to a 64/65)
That's still a very difficult grade. I can tell you this. That's sunlight that accentuated that darkness. Its technical merits are hidden for it, though. As far as these eyeballs see, anyway...
