Graded by NGC as a giveaway, just not sure of what I'm really seeing. There's the obverse by LIBERTY and Washington's nose. Then on the reverse about 3:00.

@furryfrog02 At the obverse, I would say a good glob of grease that was struck through. The reverse, I'm not sure. Possibly some more grease?

I agree with the obverse. TBH, I'm not seeing anything on the reverse though.

Left photo, a little something travelling from tip of star upwards to rope. Might just be a bad rub.

It looks like a die crack in hand but I just can't tell for sure. I was thinking old hardened grease on the obverse.

Def not a die crack. I think tommy's right.

SAMPLE? Was this a promotional coin given out at a show?

I think so as I've heard it done but never got to a show that did it.

It's always the bigger shows, I didn't get one at world fair of money in Denver, my kid did though, Got a 2018 Denver cent. These sample cents were rolls if not a mint bag sent for grading as a sample slab.
Sample = Example in this instance.

Struck thru grease and I can't figure on the reverse, has the appearance of being bi level. I say worn die.
